🎯 The Role

As a Frontend Software Engineer on the Process Manager team, you will build the BPMN-based modeling experience that enables enterprise customers to design, automate, and govern intricate business processes. You will tackle complex technical challenges in SVG diagramming, canvas drag-and-drop interactions, and real-time visualization performance.

💼 What You'll Do

• Build intuitive BPMN process modeling editors using diagram-js, BPMN.io, and custom vector rendering.
• Engineer interactive canvas capabilities like drag-and-drop controls, property inspectors, and contextual overlays.
• Optimize SVG manipulation and DOM layouts to maintain smooth 60fps performance on complex process graphs.
• Implement modular UI components with React, TypeScript, and Styled Components.
• Integrate backend endpoints via GraphQL with Apollo Client and manage client state using Redux Toolkit.
• Write automated unit and integration test suites with Jest and React Testing Library.
• Work alongside cross-functional squads across product, design, and architecture to evaluate technical trade-offs.

✅ What You'll Need

• 4+ years of professional frontend software engineering experience with production systems.
• Deep hands-on expertise in React and TypeScript.
• Solid understanding of SVG rendering, vector coordinate systems, and browser rendering pipelines.
• Practical experience managing complex client-side application state (Redux Toolkit or similar).
• Strong testing discipline utilizing Jest and React Testing Library.
• Experience integrating GraphQL or RESTful service layers.

🌟 Nice to Have

• Experience with diagramming or flow libraries (diagram-js, BPMN.io, Cytoscape, or mxGraph).
• Background building collaborative visual design or canvas manipulation applications.
• Familiarity with BPMN specifications and business process automation concepts.
• Knowledge of web accessibility standards (a11y) in visual toolkits.
