🎯 The Role

As a Frontend Software Engineer on the Notifications (Pigeon) team, you will build a foundational platform capability consumed across multiple Corporater applications. This is an engineering-driven role focused on technical design, component modularity, web performance, and proactive product discovery rather than simply executing task lists.

💼 What You'll Do

• Design and implement user interfaces for notification definitions, templates, and communication workflows.
• Craft rich-text formatting and template editing experiences using CKEditor 5.
• Build reusable, composable design system primitives and components.
• Structure robust client-side API integrations using TanStack Query and type-safe validation schemas.
• Implement secure authentication and token handling flows with OAuth2 and JWT.
• Maintain clean architectural boundaries and enforce high test coverage using Jest and React Testing Library.
• Partner with product managers, UX designers, and backend squads throughout product discovery and delivery.

✅ What You'll Need

• 3+ years of professional frontend development experience with production web applications.
• Strong proficiency in React, TypeScript, and modern JavaScript standards.
• Thorough understanding of RESTful API consumption and asynchronous data handling.
• Solid experience with state management solutions and API caching libraries.
• Demonstrated testing discipline using Jest, React Testing Library, or similar frameworks.
• Deep understanding of modular UI design, component lifecycles, and modern CSS styling.

🌟 Nice to Have

• Hands-on experience with utility-first frameworks like Tailwind CSS.
• Prior exposure to the TanStack ecosystem (TanStack Query, TanStack Table).
• Experience configuring rich-text editors such as CKEditor 5.
• Familiarity with enterprise OAuth2/OIDC authentication protocols.
• Background in web accessibility (WCAG) and browser performance tuning.
