🎯 The Role

Mercor is inviting experienced Frontend Engineers to join its Expert Talent Network for remote part-time contract projects ($70–$150/hr). In this open network, approved experts are matched on a rolling basis with frontier AI labs to evaluate AI-generated frontend code, construct real-world web benchmarks, and provide domain-specific feedback across modern web technologies.

• Languages: Modern JavaScript (ES6+), TypeScript, Semantic HTML5, CSS3
• Core Concepts: State Management, Responsive Web Design, Web Performance Optimization

💼 What You'll Do

• Train and evaluate frontier AI models on frontend engineering principles and code generation tasks.
• Build real-world frontend benchmarks, test suites, and interactive component challenges.
• Provide rigorous technical feedback and error analysis on model outputs.
• Assess code quality across visual fidelity, state management, and modern framework patterns.
• Engage in flexible projects with typical weekly commitments of 15–30 hours.

✅ What You'll Need

• 3+ years of professional web development experience using modern frontend frameworks (React, Vue, or Angular).
• Strong mastery of HTML5, CSS3, responsive layout patterns, and modern JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Solid understanding of state management architectures and frontend performance optimization.
• Strong technical communication skills in English.
• Ability to work independently and manage project deliverables on a flexible remote schedule.
