🎯 The Role

As a Lead Frontend Engineer on the Digital Engineering team within Transaction Banking, you will drive the design and implementation of critical UI components. You will lead a team of engineers, collaborate with product owners and designers, and contribute to the product roadmap. This role focuses on building scalable, resilient, cloud-based digital experiences for corporate clients.

• Core: React, TypeScript, JavaScript
• State Management: MobX, Redux
• Tooling: Webpack, AWS (including serverless, microservices)
• Backend Integration: Node, Spring Boot, Kafka
• Databases: SQL (PostgreSQL/Oracle), NoSQL (DynamoDB/MongoDB)

💼 What You'll Do

• Lead the design and implementation of frontend solutions for the Transaction Banking platform.
• Drive code quality, automation, and testability across UI products.
• Manage and develop a team of engineers, fostering a culture of engineering excellence.
• Collaborate with product owners, visual designers, and business clients to deliver a consumer-grade digital experience.
• Contribute to the technical vision and product roadmap.
• Work closely with backend teams to ensure seamless integration.

✅ What You'll Need

• 1-7 years of professional experience with modern UI languages (JavaScript/TypeScript).
• Proven experience building UI products with React.
• Ability to lead engineering teams and deliver complex products with multiple stakeholders.
• Experience architecting and designing full-stack applications on AWS.
• Experience with high-availability, mission-critical systems and deployment methodologies.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience.

🌟 Nice to Have

• Experience with Node, Webpack, MobX, Redux.
• Experience with Spring Boot, Kafka.
• Microservice architecture and REST API experience.
• SQL and NoSQL database experience.
• Experience in financial services or fintech.
• Practical experience with containers.
• Familiarity with Agile operating models (Scrum/Kanban).
