🎯 The Role

As a Front End Engineer on the Brand Web team, you will sit at the intersection of design and engineering to build and maintain Anthropic's flagship web properties. In this role, you will ship high-quality web experiences across anthropic.com and claude.com — from interactive marketing pages and research visualizations to internal publishing tools. You will work closely with brand designers, writers, and product engineers to translate ambitious creative concepts into performant, production-ready code with rapid prototyping at the core of your daily workflow.

💼 What You'll Do

• Own the implementation of reusable design system components and templates across anthropic.com and claude.com.
• Build dynamic interactive pages, data visualizations, and web tools that communicate complex AI research and safety concepts.
• Develop and optimize headless CMS architectures, improving structured data workflows and content authoring efficiency.
• Partner directly with designers to bring static Figma prototypes to life with refined motion and responsive layouts.
• Create internal developer tools and authoring workflows that accelerate publishing across the marketing org.
• Rapidly build working prototypes to test ideas and iterate collaboratively with cross-functional stakeholders.

✅ What You'll Need

• Strong professional frontend experience with React-based frameworks, especially Next.js, and design system integration.
• Deep mastery of CSS for craft-oriented animations, responsive grids, and micro-interactions.
• Hands-on experience working with headless CMS platforms and structured data workflows.
• Track record of shipping customer-facing, polished production websites.
• Ability to build internal tools and improve daily publishing workflows.
• High agency with a rapid prototyping mindset: turning ambiguous concepts into functional demos without friction.

• Experience incorporating AI-assisted development tools into production engineering workflows.
• Interest in generative or programmatic web design.
