🎯 The Role

As a Front-End Engineer III on the Login Experience team, you will design and implement high-quality user interfaces for traveler sign-in, registration, and account access across all Expedia Group brands. You will own client-side architecture, component composition, state management, and API integrations while optimizing for performance, accessibility, and operational excellence.

• Core: React.js, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3

• Tooling & Ops: Design Systems, Automated Testing, Performance Optimization, CI/CD

💼 What You'll Do

• Design and implement high-quality user interfaces across multiple web surfaces and devices.
• Architect client-side application structure, state management, routing, and API consumption.
• Collaborate with product managers, UX designers, and backend engineers to validate technical feasibility and deliver A/B testable features.
• Drive frontend best practices including component low-level design, automated testing, and web performance optimization.
• Contribute to shared UI design systems and integrate AI-assisted capabilities into user workflows.

✅ What You'll Need

• 5+ years of professional web development experience using React.js, JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML, and CSS.
• Proven experience owning user-facing features end-to-end within production web applications.
• Strong expertise in front-end system design, component-level LLD, and client-side data management.
• Hands-on experience integrating with RESTful or GraphQL APIs.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent technical experience.

• Background in driving web accessibility, localization, and responsive design best practices.
• Track record of utilizing user experimentation and data analytics to guide product UI decisions.
