🎯 The Role

As a Full Stack Engineer at Adobe, you will be instrumental in developing AI-powered content generation systems and integrating AI capabilities into product experiences. This role involves owning end-to-end feature development, contributing to system design, and building scalable, reliable, and intelligent systems that enhance user productivity and automate complex workflows. You will work closely with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment.

🛠️ Tech Stack

• Core Frontend: TypeScript, JavaScript, React, Lit (or other web component frameworks)
• Backend: Node.js, Express (preferred, or similar)
• Tooling: Bazel, Rush, Git, Jira, CI/CD pipelines
• APIs: REST APIs, AI/LLM APIs
• Concepts: Asynchronous systems, Distributed services, Monorepos, Agile development

💼 What You'll Do

• Build and integrate AI-powered features using LLMs and external AI services, designing and implementing agentic workflows.
• Contribute to prompt design, evaluation, and iteration for AI outputs, implementing guardrails and monitoring.
• Design, develop, and maintain end-to-end features across frontend and backend systems, focusing on scalable React, TypeScript applications.
• Develop backend services and APIs to support application and AI workflows, ensuring performance and reliability.
• Participate in system design discussions, break down requirements, and collaborate with product managers, designers, and QA.
• Contribute to code reviews, uphold engineering best practices, and work within monorepos using Bazel and Rush.
• Utilize Git for version control, Jira for tracking, and contribute to CI/CD pipelines and testing.

✅ What You'll Need

• 4–6 years of experience in software engineering.
• Strong proficiency in TypeScript, JavaScript, and web component frameworks like Lit, with React experience being a significant plus.
• Proven experience building full stack applications (frontend + backend).
• Hands-on experience integrating AI/LLM APIs and working with multistage LLM pipelines for structured JSON output.
• Familiarity with REST APIs, asynchronous systems, and distributed services.
• Experience with Git-based workflows and Agile development using Jira.
• Strong debugging, problem-solving, and communication skills.

🌟 Nice to Have

• Knowledge of backend frameworks such as Node.js or Express.
• Familiarity with Bazel and Rush in large-scale codebases.
• Experience with observability, logging, and monitoring for production systems.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing.
• Understanding of secure and responsible AI practices.
