🎯 The Role

As a Staff Software Engineer - Frontend, you will occupy a hands-on technical leadership seat driving core frontend architecture across generative AI products. You will solve foundational engineering challenges around real-time token streaming, long-running asynchronous jobs, multi-modal audio/video processing, and complex document intelligence interfaces that operate at scale.

• React, Next.js, TypeScript, JavaScript
• WebSockets, Server-Sent Events (SSE), streaming APIs
• State machines, client caching, asynchronous state orchestration
• Web audio/video decoding, media streaming protocols, canvas
• Design systems, frontend observability, error monitoring

💼 What You'll Do

• Spearhead the architecture and evolution of high-throughput, enterprise-facing AI platforms.
• Solve complex challenges involving streaming tokens, tool invocation feedback, and partial model outputs.
• Design resilient frontend clients capable of orchestrating long-running media processing, audio dubbing, and document extraction pipelines.
• Eliminate latency and resource bottlenecks across client rendering, bundle size, and memory consumption.
• Establish engineering best practices around frontend observability, tracing, release automation, and CI/CD.
• Mentor engineering peers and guide frontend architectural decisions across multidisciplinary teams.

✅ What You'll Need

• 8+ years of software engineering experience with deep specialization in modern frontend systems.
• Master-level proficiency in React, Next.js, TypeScript, and modern browser APIs.
• Proven track record architecting real-time streaming web applications utilizing WebSockets or SSE.
• Strong systems thinking with the ability to navigate ambiguous requirements from conception through deployment.
• Extensive experience diagnosing performance degradation and managing complex client-side state.
• Demonstrated technical leadership and collaborative influence without relying on managerial authority.
