🎯 The Role

Vetcove is hiring a Staff Frontend Engineer for a 100% remote position in the United States. In this role, you will lead the technical vision and engineering execution for user-facing experiences across desktop web and mobile platforms, setting the architectural blueprint for the company's next phase of scale.

💼 What You'll Do

• Establish frontend architectural patterns and technical strategy across Vetcove's digital ecosystem
• Drive the implementation and adoption of scalable cross-platform design systems
• Eliminate client-side bottlenecks, improve interaction latencies, and govern performance budgets
• Partner with cross-functional product, UX design, and backend engineering stakeholders
• Provide active technical mentorship and code reviews to level up engineering practices

✅ What You'll Need

• 8+ years of software engineering experience specializing in frontend web and client architectures
• Deep mastery of modern React, React Native, TypeScript, and state management paradigms
• Demonstrated track record of leading large-scale component library or design system initiatives
• Solid grasp of web performance profiling, browser rendering optimizations, and accessibility standards
• Exceptional technical communication skills and proven ability to lead in a remote environment

• Experience building B2B marketplace, healthcare, or e-commerce web applications
• Background driving monorepo architectures or micro-frontend migrations
