🎯 The Role

AryaXAI is looking for a Staff Frontend Engineer (Product UI and Design) to lead the frontend architecture of its flagship enterprise platform. In this individual contributor role, you will write production React and TypeScript, own the UI architecture, and make the final call on information architecture, user flows, and visual design (roughly 70% building and 30% design direction).

The platform bridges frontier model science with enterprise operations, serving users ranging from post-training AI researchers running frontier experiments to compliance and model risk reviewers signing off on deployments.

💼 What You'll Do

• Own the frontend architecture of a complex React and TypeScript application: routing, code splitting, state boundaries, and API contracts.
• Evolve the design system and tokens as a single source of truth across the platform without disrupting active feature development.
• Design and engineer data-dense interfaces: virtualized tables, live log and metric streams, trace visualisations, and side-by-side model comparison views.
• Build a resilient real-time streaming layer over WebSockets and SSE that maintains consistent cache semantics with request-response queries.
• Craft schema-driven form systems for deeply nested, conditional enterprise configurations.
• Set and enforce strict performance budgets covering render profiling, interaction latency, and bundle size on locked-down enterprise networks.

✅ What You'll Need

• 8+ years of experience building production web applications, including technical leadership on complex product UIs.
• Deep expertise in TypeScript and React, including React 19 rendering and concurrency semantics.
• Proven track record designing and maintaining reusable component libraries and token-driven design systems.
• Hands-on experience tackling frontend performance bottlenecks with high-frequency streaming updates, virtualized tables, or complex charts.
• Strong proficiency with TanStack Query, Tailwind CSS, React Hook Form, Zod, Vite, and pnpm.
• Rigorous automated testing habits with Vitest/Jest, Playwright, and mock APIs.

🌟 Nice to Have

• Experience building ML tooling, experiment tracking platforms, or observability dashboards.
• Visualization depth with ECharts, D3, WebGL, React Flow, or Monaco Editor.
• Experience shipping software into air-gapped, on-premise, or strictly regulated environments.
• Background using state machines (such as XState) for complex multi-step flows.
