🎯 The Role
We are looking for a Staff Frontend Engineer to join our DataViz squad. You will lead technical initiatives, mentor engineers, and work on open-source visualization tools that help users gain insights from their data.

💼 What You'll Do
- Lead multi-quarter technical initiatives from problem framing through rollout, including user feedback and measurement.
- Mentor and collaborate with other engineers, raising the engineering bar through code review, design feedback, and pairing.
- Participate in on-call for services you help build and be a force multiplier in incident response.
- Provide technical support in customer escalations and identify areas of high friction.
- Cross-squad collaboration: represent the team's work, write design proposals, run demos, and make the case for the roadmap.

- Experience being on-call and supporting software in production.

- Active interest in the Grafana community.

- Open-source contribution or maintainership.
- Active interest in observability (Metrics, Logs and Traces) and experience with tools like Grafana, Prometheus, or other observability platforms.
- Experience as an on-call user of Grafana, Prometheus, Loki, or Tempo.
- Experience in a fully remote, globally distributed team.
