🎯 The Role
The DataViz squad within Grafana Frontend builds and evolves the visualization components that allow users to derive valuable insights from complex telemetry data. As a Staff Frontend Engineer, you will lead multi-quarter technical architecture initiatives, mentor engineers, and drive the evolution of Grafana's visualization capabilities.

💼 What You'll Do
- Lead multi-quarter technical initiatives from problem framing to deployment and user feedback measurement.
- Architect core visualization capabilities to render complex metrics and logs seamlessly.
- Mentor engineers, conduct thorough code reviews, and raise engineering standards across the org.
- Participate in on-call support for squad services and contribute to incident learning.
- Partner with cross-squad teams to drive design proposals, run demos, and align roadmap strategy.

- Extensive experience leading frontend technical initiatives and mentoring engineers in a remote setting.
- Advanced expertise in React, TypeScript, and high-performance browser rendering.
- Proven track record operating production software, including participating in on-call rotations.
- Strong user-centric focus with an iterative, pragmatic approach to delivering MVPs.
- Familiarity with leveraging AI development tools within daily workflows.
