As a Staff Frontend Engineer at bunch, you will shape the architecture, quality, and developer experience of the product surfaces our customers and internal teams rely on every day. - Lead the migration from Svelte to React, holding the architectural picture across both stacks
- Maintain and evolve the design system with the frontend guild
- Support frontend initiatives across teams: architecture, performance, testing, developer experience, technical debt reduction
- Raise UX/UI quality bar through design reviews, reusable patterns, mentoring, and technical writing
- Advance AI tooling integration and shape the codebase for people and agents

- Track record operating at Staff scope with systemic frontend improvements across multiple teams
- Deep expertise in TypeScript, React, component architecture, state management, design systems, accessibility, performance, testing
- AI-native practice: daily use of AI coding tools and agentic workflows
- Product judgment to translate ambiguous workflows into pragmatic user experiences
- Systems thinking across frontend, backend, APIs, infrastructure, observability, security
- Collaborative leadership: influence without authority, mentor engineers, align stakeholders
- Fluent English, written and spoken
