🎯 The Role
We are seeking a Staff Engineer - UI to join the Anywhere Cloud team. This is a high-impact leadership role focused on delivering a 'build your own pipeline' experience for the Cloudera Data Platform (CDP). This position is fully remote for candidates based in India (tied to our Bangalore hub), allowing you to architect sophisticated interfaces that manage petabyte-scale workloads.

💼 What You'll Do
- Architect and deliver scalable UI services within the CDP Control Plane.
- Act as the primary technical advocate for frontend standards and architecture.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to turn product visions into robust technical execution plans.
- Drive performance optimization for data-intensive applications to ensure zero-latency user experiences.
- Mentor and lead a team of senior engineers, fostering a culture of ownership.
- Develop UI tools for data engines, SQL IDEs, and infra monitoring dashboards.
✅ What You'll Need
- At least 8 years of professional experience building enterprise-grade user interfaces.
- Mastery of the React ecosystem and TypeScript.
- Experience with container orchestration (Kubernetes) and cloud-native service design.
- Deep understanding of API versioning, security, and responsive web patterns.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to influence technical roadmaps.
- Solid CS fundamentals and a degree in Computer Science or a relevant field.
🌟 Nice to Have
- Experience with ELT/ETL processes or big data engines (Spark, Hive, Impala).
- Knowledge of Go or Python for backend integration.
