🎯 The Role
As a UI Engineer L5 on the PIQ/Altair team, you will be instrumental in designing and developing scalable, intuitive, and high-performing user interfaces. These interfaces will power process mining and email automation capabilities, helping users analyze process flows, monitor operational metrics, configure automation workflows, and manage email-driven business processes. This role demands strong frontend engineering expertise, product thinking, and the ability to translate complex workflows into simple, usable, and reliable user experiences.

💼 What You'll Do
- Design, develop, and maintain modern web applications for the PIQ and Altair platforms.
- Build intuitive UI experiences for process discovery, visualization, bottleneck analysis, workflow monitoring, and operational insights.
- Develop user interfaces for configuring, managing, and monitoring email automation workflows.
- Create reusable, scalable, and accessible UI components using modern frontend frameworks.
- Integrate frontend applications with REST APIs, backend services, process mining data, and workflow engines.
- Build dashboards, reports, filters, charts, and interactive views for process performance analysis.
- Collaborate with UX designers to convert wireframes and prototypes into production-ready interfaces.
- Partner with backend engineers and data teams to define API contracts and data models.
- Ensure frontend applications meet enterprise standards for performance, accessibility, security, reliability, and maintainability.
- Improve application performance, responsiveness, code quality, test coverage, and developer experience.
- Participate in design reviews, code reviews, sprint planning, technical discussions, and production support.
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to frontend engineering best practices.
✅ What You'll Need
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in frontend/UI engineering.
- Strong hands-on experience with modern frontend frameworks like React, Angular, or similar.
- Strong programming skills in TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
- Experience building scalable, responsive, and component-driven enterprise web applications.
- Strong understanding of frontend architecture, state management, routing, design systems, and reusable component patterns.
- Experience integrating UI applications with REST APIs and backend services.
- Experience building dashboards, data tables, charts, forms, filters, and workflow-based user interfaces.
- Good understanding of browser performance, accessibility standards, responsive design, and cross-browser compatibility.
- Experience with unit testing, integration testing, and frontend testing frameworks.
- Ability to work in agile, cross-functional teams and collaborate with product, design, and engineering partners.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and ownership skills.
