🎯 The Role

As a Software Engineer II on the Repair Triage team at Best Buy India, you will be instrumental in delivering software products that modernize and build solutions aligned with the product team's vision. This role involves working with Product Managers, UX Designers, and Architects to leverage multi-cloud platforms, human-centered design, Agile, and DevOps principles. You will contribute to industry-leading solutions, lead by example, and mentor other engineers within a fast-paced, inclusive environment.

• Contribute to the development and delivery of complex software solutions, breaking down large problems into manageable tasks.
• Actively participate in team planning activities and uphold the quality and integrity of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• Identify and implement improvements in team workflows, tools, and practices.
• Independently triage complex technical issues and understand the broader technology landscape.
• Plan and deliver business needs that span multiple applications.
• Champion agile development practices and mentor junior engineers.
• Contribute to and enhance internal libraries and tools.
• Maintain a strong understanding of the business supported by your applications.
• Proactively communicate project status and potential issues to your manager.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to devise creative solutions for customer challenges.
• Demonstrate unwavering commitment to delivery deadlines, especially critical seasonal and vendor partner timelines.

✅ What You'll Need

• A Bachelor's degree or equivalent, coupled with 4+ years of relevant professional experience.
• At least 2 years of hands-on experience in frontend development using React, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
• Proven experience with state management libraries, specifically Redux.
• Experience in developing and maintaining micro-frontend applications, with a preference for frameworks like Single-SPA.
• Proficiency in responsive UI development using HTML, CSS, LESS, and/or SASS.
• Experience with test automation frameworks such as Jest, Mocha, Selenium, or Cypress.
• Familiarity with major Cloud Platforms including AWS, GCP, or Azure.
• Experience integrating frontend applications with RESTful APIs and/or GraphQL services.

🌟 Nice to Have

• Experience working in an omni-channel retail environment.
• Familiarity with tools like Jira, GitHub Actions or Jenkins, Splunk or Kibana.
• Exposure to AI/ML technologies and frameworks.
