🎯 The Role

As a Frontend Software Engineer at OLX India, you will contribute to building and refining user-facing web applications that operate at immense consumer scale. Working on-site in Gurugram, you will focus on crafting snappy interfaces, optimizing server-side rendering workflows, and delivering resilient architectures that handle heavy transaction and browsing volumes.

• JavaScript (ES6+) & TypeScript
• React & Next.js (SSR / SSG architectures)
• State management with Redux
• Node.js & Redis caching layers
• Modern HTML5, responsive CSS, and web accessibility standards
• Automated testing suites (unit, integration, end-to-end)

💼 What You'll Do

• Build, ship, and scale production-grade web interfaces using React and Next.js
• Spearhead SSR/SSG implementations with an emphasis on technical SEO and fast Core Web Vitals
• Define clean API contracts with backend engineering teams and manage efficient client-side data caching
• Profile frontend rendering cycles, diagnose performance bottlenecks, and improve bundle footprints
• Maintain high code quality through code reviews, automated CI/CD testing gates, and documentation

✅ What You'll Need

• 2 to 3 years of hands-on software development experience specializing in web frontend applications
• Deep competence in modern JavaScript, TypeScript, React, and Next.js rendering lifecycles
• Solid foundation in semantic HTML, CSS architecture, responsive design, and web accessibility
• Exposure to backend integration using Node.js and caching tools such as Redis
• Familiarity with CI/CD deployment pipelines, code review standards, and web telemetry

• Background working on consumer-facing platforms with high daily active user counts
• Experience configuring web monitoring, logging, and frontend security best practices
