🎯 The Role

Encord is hiring a Front-End Leaning Software Engineer in London to build its core editor interfaces. You will take on technically demanding frontend challenges, including rendering complex 3D/4D sensor streams, LiDAR clouds, and multimodal data in real-time inside the browser.

💼 What You'll Do

• Build high-performance canvas and WebGL interfaces for inspecting and annotating multimodal datasets.
• Optimize browser rendering performance, memory allocation, and frame rates for large-scale 3D scenes.
• Take end-to-end ownership of UI features from architectural design through production deployment.
• Collaborate with computer vision engineers to integrate low-latency model predictions into the editor.
• Maintain clean, modular code architectures that stay maintainable as product complexity expands.

✅ What You'll Need

• Strong experience developing complex, production-grade web applications with React and TypeScript.
• Deep understanding of browser internals, rendering cycles, and performance optimization techniques.
• Experience with WebGL, HTML5 Canvas, or browser-based graphics programming.
• Ability to collaborate on-site at Encord's central London office 4+ days a week.
• Independent problem-solving skills and a bias toward high-velocity shipping.

• Exposure to Python backend services or REST API development.
• Experience with computer vision, robotics, or point-cloud data structures.
• Familiarity with Kubernetes and container deployment workflows.
