🎯 The Role

Genesys is hiring a Software Development Engineer with a focus on UI to join the Work Automation engineering team in Galway, Ireland. In this role, you will build user-facing capabilities in the Genesys Cloud platform that help companies coordinate and automate business workflows.

🛠️ Tech Stack

• Angular, TypeScript, and modern JavaScript
• HTML5, SCSS, and CSS responsive styling
• RESTful APIs and cloud microservices
• Testing frameworks and CI/CD pipelines

💼 What You'll Do

• Design, build, and maintain intuitive UI components and web applications with Angular
• Own features throughout their development lifecycle from UX design to production deployment
• Integrate web user interfaces with REST APIs and cloud backend services
• Participate in code reviews, engineering discussions, and team knowledge sharing

✅ What You'll Need

• Approximately 2+ years of professional software development experience in UI or web engineering
• Strong skills in JavaScript, TypeScript, and modern component frameworks (Angular or React)
• Sound grasp of HTML, CSS, and accessible responsive web standards
• Experience building and consuming RESTful web APIs
• Ability to work hybrid onsite in Galway 2 to 3 days per week

• Experience with large-scale SaaS or cloud platforms like AWS
• Familiarity with design systems, telemetry, or web performance monitoring
