🎯 The Role

As a Senior Web Engineer, you will be the driving force behind www.konghq.com. This role sits at the intersection of high-end frontend engineering and sophisticated CMS architecture. You'll take ownership of the PayloadCMS implementation and build the scalable templates that power Kong's global marketing presence.

💼 What You'll Do

• Build reusable component libraries and page templates that ensure a seamless user experience.
• Lead the evolution of the CMS architecture, focusing on content modeling and system reliability.
• Improve code quality through automated unit, integration, and visual testing suites.
• Collaborate with distributed teams of designers and engineers to deliver high-performing web solutions.
• Mentor fellow engineers on modern frontend patterns and CMS-driven workflows.

✅ What You'll Need

• 4 to 6 years of professional experience in full-stack web development.
• Expert-level command of Next.js, TypeScript, and modern CSS styling.
• Proven experience building maintainable, CMS-driven web platforms (Headless experience is a must).
• A deep understanding of web performance optimization and scalable system design.
• Comfort working in an Agile/Scrum environment within a distributed team.

• Experience deploying large-scale applications with Vercel.
• Familiarity with NoSQL databases like MongoDB.
