🎯 The Role

AbhiBus is seeking a hands-on Senior Technical Architect to direct platform architecture across modern web and distributed backend systems. In this role, you will define architecture standards, oversee engineering delivery across multiple concurrent projects, mentor a team of 10–20 engineers, and champion an AI-native approach across the software engineering lifecycle.

💼 What You'll Do

• Architect and own the end-to-end technical foundation across frontend, backend, and infrastructure for performance, reliability, and cost-efficiency.
• Directly lead and mentor a team of 10–20 engineers across simultaneous workstreams, ensuring reliable on-time delivery.
• Align technical strategy with product roadmaps, clearly communicating architectural trade-offs to business stakeholders.
• Establish code review guidelines, architectural patterns, and engineering quality benchmarks.
• Integrate modern AI tooling into everyday software development workflows, from code generation to automated testing and monitoring.
• Ensure high system availability, observability, and robust mitigation of technical debt.

✅ What You'll Need

• 12+ years of professional software engineering experience with full-stack depth in React.js and Node.js.
• Demonstrated success architecting, scaling, and maintaining high-throughput consumer web platforms.
• Proven track record leading teams of 10–20 engineers across parallel initiatives.
• Strong expertise in event-driven design, Apache Kafka, and distributed data pipelines.
• Experience with relational data modeling in MySQL as well as NoSQL data stores.
• Hands-on experience deploying and operating systems on AWS/GCP with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Clear communication, mentoring skills, and sound Agile project management capability.

• Prior experience in travel-tech, e-commerce, or consumer internet platforms.
• Background in defining company-wide AI tooling, governance, or development workflows.
