🎯 The Role

As a Senior / Staff Front End Engineer, you will help design and build Clear Street Active, a next-generation web trading application engineered for active and institutional traders. You will tackle demanding technical challenges around sub-second data synchronization, high-throughput UI updates, and low-latency order execution workflows.

💼 What You'll Do

• Architect and deliver core components of Clear Street Active with sub-second responsiveness
• Seamlessly integrate live market data feeds, execution tooling, and financial visualization components
• Collaborate with product and backend engineers to design performant client-server contracts
• Establish high frontend engineering standards, testing methodologies, and developer workflows
• Profile and optimize client-side memory usage, rendering pipelines, and event handling

✅ What You'll Need

• 4+ years of professional web application development experience
• 3+ years operating with modern frontend frameworks at a Senior or Staff engineering level
• Deep mastery of React, TypeScript, TanStack libraries, and Tailwind CSS
• Solid understanding of data structures, frontend design patterns, and client-side performance profiling
• Proven ability to build accessible, reliable, and maintainable user interfaces
• Strong collaboration skills and a dedication to high-quality code craft
