🎯 The Role

We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join the UI Platform team. This role is central to building the shared quality foundation for CrowdStrike's next-generation frontend. You will lead the testing framework, CI pipelines, and quality signals that every UI team relies on.

💼 What You'll Do

• Lead the shared UI testing framework (unit, component, E2E, visual regression)
• Design and run CI pipelines in GitLab CI and Jenkins
• Ship the UI Quality Score as a public signal
• Wire automated dependency management and AI-assisted test authorship
• Work with UI Developer Tooling, UI Release, and Observability teams
• Pair with Product Group leads to migrate legacy testing patterns
• Mentor engineers on testing practices
• Build quarantine and triage system for flaky tests

✅ What You'll Need

• Experience building shared frameworks, tooling, or platforms
• Strong knowledge of Playwright for browser E2E testing
• Proficiency in TypeScript, Vite, and modern frontend tooling
• Experience designing GitLab CI pipelines
• Ability to set engineering standards and influence teams
• Proven use of AI to improve engineering workflows
