🎯 The Role

As a Senior Software Engineer at Target India, you will play a pivotal role in a global team dedicated to supporting, enhancing, and evolving the UKG Pro Workforce Management (WFM) platform and its broader ecosystem. This position involves driving successful implementation and ongoing optimization of WFM solutions, ensuring they align with business needs and deliver long-term value. You will collaborate closely with business and technology partners to design and build scalable solutions, with a strong emphasis on integrating WFM with HR, payroll, and other enterprise platforms, while also extending platform capabilities through innovative development.

💼 What You'll Do

• Design, develop, and implement robust integration patterns to ensure scalability and optimal performance across enterprise systems.
• Support enterprise-wide timekeeping and scheduling requirements, enabling insightful forecasting and ensuring compliance with workforce policies.
• Leverage open-source technologies to make informed engineering decisions, adhering to enterprise architecture principles and guidelines.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to extend platform capabilities and improve workforce operations and user experience.

✅ What You'll Need

• A 4-year degree in a relevant field or equivalent practical experience.
• 4+ years of hands-on software development experience, including at least one full-cycle implementation.
• Proficiency in building user interfaces using modern frameworks such as React, Next.js, or Vue.js.
• Experience in building applications using technologies like Java or Kotlin, ensuring high performance and reliability.
• Strong experience with microservices architecture, NoSQL databases, and event-driven architecture.
• Familiarity with building highly scalable distributed systems.
• Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with business partners and other engineering teams.
• Expertise in analyzing and optimizing systems for capacity, performance, and operational health.
