🎯 The Role

Warner Bros. Discovery is hiring a Senior Software Engineer for its Global Localization Platform (GLP) team in Bengaluru. In this role, you will build and scale the critical frontend interfaces and internal tools that power multi-language subtitling, translation, and media distribution across international streaming services.

💼 What You'll Do

• Build intuitive and scalable web applications used by worldwide media operations teams
• Architect robust, performant front-end systems with React and TypeScript
• Work closely with UX designers to turn product specifications into clean, accessible interfaces
• Conduct code reviews and ensure frontend architecture meets high reliability and security standards
• Mentor and guide developers on frontend testing, design patterns, and modern web tooling

✅ What You'll Need

• 5+ years of software engineering experience focusing on front-end web development
• Deep competence with React, TypeScript, and modern front-end tooling
• Strong foundation in web standards: HTML5, CSS3, DOM manipulation, and responsive web design
• Practical experience consuming RESTful web services and integrating state management solutions
• Experience working with automated testing frameworks and Git version control

• Experience building localization, translation, or media management applications
• Background working with cloud-native architectures on AWS
