🎯 The Role
Snowflake's Customer Experience Engineering team is hiring a Senior Software Engineer with strong frontend craft. This team builds features directly into the Snowflake product that remove friction points for customers and reduce escalations to support. The job is to turn large volumes of structured and unstructured diagnostic data into interfaces where the answer is immediately clear. You own the experience layer end to end — component architecture, rendering performance, data visualisation — and you work down into the APIs that power them.

💼 What You'll Do
- Build user-facing surfaces for diagnostic and AI-powered tooling in React and TypeScript, owning component architecture and reusable patterns
- Transform high-cardinality diagnostic data into interactive visualisations that surface root causes in seconds
- Own rendering performance, bundle characteristics, accessibility compliance, and cross-browser correctness
- Shape and extend backend APIs and services in Node.js, Java, and SQL where the experience needs it
- Partner with product and design as a peer contributor to interaction and visual decisions
- Design and ship AI-powered features and diagnostic tools, navigating reliability trade-offs and architectural decisions
- Set team norms and review policies around AI-assisted development and code quality
✅ What You'll Need
- 4+ years of software engineering experience, majority spent on frontend work
- Deep expertise in React and TypeScript — component and state architecture, performance profiling, and sound abstraction judgement
- Working proficiency in at least one backend area (Node.js, Java, or SQL) with end-to-end shipping experience
- Experience building data-dense interfaces — dashboards, tables, charts — with performant visualisation techniques at scale
- Experience shipping or contributing to AI-powered features or LLM-integrated user experiences
- Practical fluency with AI-assisted development tools and a clear quality ownership framework
- Strong software engineering fundamentals: unit and component testing, code reviews, design documentation, and telemetry instrumentation
- B.E. or M.E. in Computer Science, Electronics and Communication, or equivalent practical experience
