🎯 The Role

As a Senior Software Engineer, Frontend, you'll own the design and delivery of user-facing experiences at the heart of Sardine's AI products. You'll primarily build polished, performant interfaces in React and TypeScript, with some backend work in Go. This is a high-autonomy, high-leadership position where you'll set frontend standards, mentor engineers, and leverage AI/agentic tooling (like Claude) to ship fast.

💼 What You'll Do

• Design, build, and own polished, accessible, and performant UI features in React and TypeScript
• Set technical direction and quality standards for the frontend
• Use AI tools like Claude to accelerate development and establish best practices
• Contribute to Go backend services and APIs when needed
• Collaborate with stakeholders to architect new experiences from concept to launch
• Mentor engineers through code review and technical guidance
• Shape the broader engineering culture and maintain high standards

✅ What You'll Need

• 7+ years of software engineering experience with deep frontend specialization
• Expert-level React and TypeScript with a strong UX, performance, and accessibility mindset
• Demonstrated fluency with AI/agentic coding tools (e.g., Claude)
• Leadership experience in setting standards, mentoring, and driving decisions
• Track record of shipping production-grade frontend at scale
• Working proficiency in Go (or ability to ramp up quickly)
• Comfort with ambiguity and autonomous prioritization
• Customer-centric approach with empathy for users
• Relevant fintech or regulated industry experience preferred
• Proficiency in English
