We’re hiring a Senior Frontend Engineer to help drive Scribd’s Web Modernization program and build the frontend foundations for our next generation of web product experiences. You’ll lead major modernization workstreams — migrating complex legacy web applications into a modern Microfrontend ecosystem, creating repeatable migration patterns and shared foundations other teams can build on — while ensuring performance, developer experience, and user impact stay high throughout the transition.

💼 What You'll Do
- Lead major modernization workstreams migrating legacy web applications into a modern Microfrontend ecosystem
- Create repeatable migration patterns and shared foundations for other teams
- Ship production-critical frontend code and define patterns and boundaries
- Partner cross-functionally to make architectural change practical and durable
- Build product features for publishers and readers after modernization
✅ What You'll Need
- 6+ years professional frontend software engineering experience
- Deep experience with JavaScript/TypeScript and React
