🎯 The Role
The CoinDesk Media Engineering team powers the digital experience behind coindesk.com and its accompanying mobile applications. As a Senior Software Engineer, you will build next-generation media features, optimize web performance and SEO, and integrate emerging AI agentic workflows into content distribution pipelines.

💼 What You'll Do
- Build scalable frontend web applications and Node.js backend services for real-time news delivery

- 5+ years of software development experience with React.js, Next.js, Node.js, and TypeScript
- Proven expertise in SSR, content caching strategies, and client-side performance optimization
- Hands-on experience deploying cloud services using GCP (Cloud Run, Kubernetes) and Terraform
- Familiarity building with AI agents, LLM tool integrations, or RAG architectures
- Strong track record of improving web performance metrics and technical SEO standards
- Experience building with design systems and maintaining robust automated test suites
