🎯 The Role

As a Senior Software Engineer at Cimpress Open, you will be instrumental in designing and building robust, maintainable, and scalable software solutions. This role involves architecting modern, responsive, and accessible user interfaces, as well as developing complex integrations and APIs to power personalized products at scale. You will contribute to a remote-first culture, influencing technology decisions and collaborating with cross-functional teams.

💼 What You'll Do

• Design and build robust, maintainable, and scalable software using React, Node.js, TypeScript, and related frameworks.
• Architect and implement modern, responsive, and accessible user interfaces.
• Develop complex integrations and APIs to power personalized products at scale.
• Ensure quality and reliability by writing clean, efficient, and testable code, optimizing performance, accessibility, and cross-browser compatibility.
• Support production systems, troubleshoot issues, and drive root-cause resolution.
• Collaborate with product managers and cross-functional teams to translate requirements into technical solutions.
• Apply design patterns, modular component strategies, and modern programming paradigms.
• Leverage cloud infrastructure (AWS) and CI/CD pipelines for secure, reliable delivery.

✅ What You'll Need

• 6+ years of experience as a full-stack engineer or in a similar role.
• Proficiency in the JavaScript, Node.js, and TypeScript ecosystem.
• Exposure to various JavaScript frameworks and libraries including Node.js, Express, Jest, Mocha.JS, and Cucumber.
• Experience with cloud infrastructure, with AWS being preferred.
• Demonstrated experience using and building REST API services.
• Familiarity with agile frameworks like Scrum.
• Ability to leverage modern AI tools to accelerate development, improve quality, and increase overall impact.
• Proven experience building new, complex integrations from scratch.

• Exposure to graphic design, the print industry, or digital image processing.
• Understanding of e-commerce components.
