Stripe is seeking a Senior Mobile Engineer to join their Barcelona-based team. 🛠️ Tech Stack

The core technologies for this role include React Native, TypeScript, and modern JavaScript. Experience with mobile app architecture and state management patterns like Flux, Redux, or MobX is essential. Preferred qualifications include familiarity with Expo, mobile CI/CD pipelines (Fastlane, GitHub Actions, Bitrise), and potentially backend development with REST APIs or GraphQL.

💼 What You'll Do

As a Senior Mobile Engineer, you will take ownership of significant parts of the React Native codebase and lead architectural decisions. You'll collaborate closely with product, design, and cross-functional teams to deliver polished and performant mobile experiences. Key responsibilities include spearheading feature design and development, championing AI integration for efficiency, driving code quality through reviews and testing, mentoring junior engineers, resolving performance bottlenecks, and scaling CI/CD infrastructure. You will also act as a primary mobile platform liaison for internal teams.

✅ What You'll Need

Candidates should possess 5+ years of professional mobile development experience, with a strong emphasis on React Native. Essential skills include strong proficiency in TypeScript and modern JavaScript, a solid understanding of mobile app architecture and design patterns, and proven expertise in React Native for building and maintaining high-quality production applications at scale. Excellent problem-solving and clear technical communication skills are also required.

Preferred qualifications include experience with Expo (managed or bare workflow), designing and maintaining mobile CI/CD pipelines, building or contributing to mobile SDKs or shared component libraries, and some experience with backend development (REST APIs, GraphQL).
