🎯 The Role

As a Senior Fullstack Engineer on the Doppler team, you will lead the development of the human-in-the-loop platform where financial analysts review, correct, and enrich model outputs at scale. This role leans heavily toward frontend architecture and data-dense UI craftsmanship while extending across the stack to backend APIs, data pipelines, and workflow orchestration.

💼 What You'll Do

• Architect and scale Doppler's analyst-facing UI, ensuring responsive interaction over massive, multi-column financial datasets.
• Implement UI workflows and auditability mechanisms that surface model confidence scores and make data correction seamless.
• Build and maintain backend APIs, asynchronous jobs, and data models using Python/Django and PostgreSQL.
• Partner with machine learning engineers to feed human corrections back into automated model training pipelines.
• Eliminate bottlenecks in client-side rendering through DOM virtualization, memory management, and caching strategies.

✅ What You'll Need

• 5+ years of professional engineering experience with proven depth in frontend architecture and fullstack delivery.
• Mastery of modern JavaScript/TypeScript and the React component lifecycle.
• Deep expertise in web performance optimization, UI virtualization, and handling complex client state.
• Solid backend capabilities with Python/Django (or similar backend frameworks) and relational databases.
• Experience designing and shipping complex, tool-grade user interfaces such as interactive spreadsheets, data tables, or analytics dashboards.

• Experience building human-in-the-loop tooling or operational software for AI/ML systems.
• Background in fintech, financial fundamentals (10-Ks, 10-Qs), or high-reliability data auditing.
• Experience with design system governance and enterprise component library development.
