🎯 The Role

This is a Senior Full-Stack Engineer role with a primary focus on frontend, specifically for "Wandy," a brand new, greenfield product within Wand. The team is small, has a high technical bar, and operates with a fully AI-driven SDLC. The core responsibility is to own the frontend layer end-to-end, including architectural decisions, rethinking existing components, and building new UI. This position offers significant architectural ownership beyond just execution.

🛠️ Tech Stack

The frontend primarily leans on TypeScript. For backend contributions, the team uses Node.js or Go, emphasizing a technology-agnostic approach. AI coding tools like Claude Code are a core part of the development workflow.

💼 What You'll Do

• Take full ownership of the frontend architecture for a greenfield product, assessing current builds and deciding on future directions.
• Design and build customer-facing UIs with a strong product and UX sensibility.
• Develop and maintain the frontend, primarily using TypeScript.
• Contribute to the backend by understanding databases, data structures, and system design to build and reason about APIs.
• Drive initiatives from proposal to implementation, taking true end-to-end ownership.
• Integrate AI coding tools like Claude Code deeply into your development workflow.
• Thrive in a fast-moving, ambiguous startup environment, often defining the "how" of projects.

• Strong frontend fundamentals and the ability to make significant architectural decisions.
• Proven product and UX sense, with experience building for real end-users.
• Comfort across the full stack, including a solid grasp of backend fundamentals (databases, data structures, system design).
• Technology-agnostic mindset with experience across multiple stacks.
• A history of genuine ownership, starting projects from scratch.
• Experience in a startup environment, comfortable with shifting priorities and ambiguity.
• Fluency in using AI coding tools (e.g., Claude Code) as a core part of your workflow.

• Experience at a startup building something from scratch with minimal existing structure.
