🎯 The Role
As a Senior Full Stack Engineer on the Billing Team, you will be instrumental in designing, building, and scaling the critical billing and metering platform for ClickHouse Cloud. This remote position in Germany involves working across the full stack, integrating with various external systems, and ensuring the reliability, scalability, and compliance of mission-critical financial processes. You will collaborate closely with stakeholders to deliver robust solutions that directly impact the business.

💼 What You'll Do
- Design and build ClickHouse Cloud’s core billing and metering platform.
- Develop and maintain mission-critical processes that ensure business continuity.
- Deliver secure, efficient, mature, and highly available frameworks and platforms.
- Partner with multi-disciplinary teams to define business strategies and optimal solutions.
- Integrate with a variety of systems including Billing, Metering, Logging, Monitoring, and Support.
✅ What You'll Need
- 5+ years of relevant software development experience, particularly with cloud-based full-stack systems.
- Proven track record of leading and shipping large-scope technical projects.
- Proficiency in modern web technologies including React, TypeScript, and Node.js.
- Experience with billing concepts such as credit card processing, usage-based billing, and CSP marketplaces.
- Strong expertise in building and operating high-scale, distributed systems.
- Hands-on experience with public cloud providers (AWS, GCP, Azure) and their infrastructure services.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and production debugging skills.
- High level of responsibility, ownership, and accountability.
