🎯 The Role

As a Senior Frontend Software Engineer on the Mission Software team, you will take ownership of user-facing systems that interface directly with operational microreactors. You will build and scale the internal telemetry and fleet monitoring platforms that operators and nuclear engineers rely on to visualize real-time reactor health, inspect sensor telemetry streams, and manage complex hardware configurations.

💼 What You'll Do

• Architect and maintain mission-critical web applications powering fleet-wide microreactor telemetry and operations
• Implement highly responsive, low-latency charts and data monitoring interfaces handling high-frequency sensor readings
• Create intuitive human-machine interfaces (HMI) for configuring embedded devices and reactor subsystem parameters
• Partner closely with embedded systems and hardware engineers to ensure safe and clear visualization of complex physical systems
• Champion frontend best practices around test coverage, type safety, and real-time UI stability

✅ What You'll Need

• 5+ years of software engineering experience focusing on modern web frontends or complex desktop graphical applications
• Mastery of TypeScript, React, and single-page application architectures
• Experience designing data-intensive interfaces powered by real-time streaming protocols like WebSockets or SSE
• Commitment to code reliability demonstrated through automated testing with tools such as Playwright and Jest
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Physics, or equivalent technical field

🌟 Nice to Have

• Experience building human-machine interfaces (HMI) or control room dashboards for hardware or aerospace systems
• Knowledge of time-series data visualization, WebGPU, Pixi.js, or Canvas rendering
• Background working with conflict-free replicated data types (CRDTs) like Yjs
