🎯 The Role

As a Senior Frontend Software Engineer in Consumer Engineering, you'll partner with Product Managers, Designers, Data Scientists, and Client Engineers to build high-impact consumer features. This centralized role spans multiple teams including Core Product & Feeds, Community & Presence, Growth & Engagement, Monetization & Conversion, and Identity & Security.

💼 What You'll Do

• Partner closely with Product, Design, Data Science, and Client Engineers to translate business and user needs into reliable, low-latency technical solutions.
• Own the full software lifecycle from technical design docs and API contracts to development, testing, rollout, and observability.
• Design, build, and evaluate A/B experiments and analyze user behavior with tools like BigQuery, HEX, or Firebase.
• Build and maintain scalable APIs and distributed backend services optimized for client consumption and consumer UI performance.
• Establish engineering best practices, improve developer workflows, and mentor teammates using modern AI-integrated tools.

✅ What You'll Need

• 6+ years of software development experience in frontend-focused languages (JavaScript, TypeScript, ES6).
• Experience with one or more frontend frameworks (React, Vue, Angular, LIT, Polymer) and CSS.
• Solid understanding of frontend architecture and building scalable consumer-facing features.
• Data-informed and hypothesis-driven mindset; comfortable with experimentation and metric analysis.
• Strong communication skills and ability to drive cross-functional alignment in remote or hybrid environments.
• User-centric perspective with deep care for product usability and user growth loops.

🌟 Nice to Have

• Experience with GraphQL, REST, HTTP, or Thrift and maintainable API design.
• Background in large-scale distributed systems or backend development.
• Interest in using AI-assisted engineering tools to accelerate development workflows.
