🎯 The Role

As a Senior Frontend Engineer, you'll join the Web Experience team to build web applications that power Uber's Delivery platforms. Your mission is to transform Uber.com into a sophisticated, high-conversion platform that mirrors the app experience on the web.

💼 What You'll Do

• Scale and maintain critical user-facing features while optimizing for speed and user experience.
• Own the end-to-end technical execution of complex features.
• Partner with cross-functional teams (Design, Product, Backend) to turn product requirements into scalable systems.
• Elevate engineering excellence by setting code health and design standards.
• Proactively identify tech debt and improve application performance.
• Mentor and guide junior to mid-level engineers.

✅ What You'll Need

• 8+ years of hands-on software engineering experience, specifically focused on high-traffic web apps.
• Deep expertise in modern frontend frameworks (React, Vue, or Angular) coupled with solid HTML and CSS skills.
• Strong proficiency in fundamental data structures (hash tables, trees, queues) and algorithms (DFS, BFS).
• Experience with modern web architecture, performance implications, and system design.
• Proven ability to lead technical direction for complex, cross-functional projects.
• Foundational knowledge of backend systems (Go, Python, TypeScript) to aid in full-stack debugging.
