🎯 The Role

As a Senior Frontend Engineer (SDE II) at Swiggy, you will play a pivotal role in developing and enhancing high-quality React.js web applications. This position involves building user-facing product flows for Swiggy’s extensive consumer and internal product ecosystem, ensuring maintainability, responsiveness, and accessibility at scale.

💼 What You'll Do

• Build, maintain, and improve high-quality React.js web applications and user-facing product flows for Swiggy’s large-scale consumer and internal product ecosystem.
• Translate product, design, and business requirements into clean, reusable, performant React components with strong attention to maintainability, responsiveness, accessibility, and cross-browser behavior.
• Partner with product managers, designers, backend engineers, QA, and senior engineers to ship features through the full development lifecycle, from requirements and implementation through testing and release.
• Use modern JavaScript, TypeScript, React state-management patterns, API integration, frontend tooling, code reviews, Git workflows, and testing practices to improve web product reliability and engineering quality.

✅ What You'll Need

• 3 to 5 years of professional software engineering experience with strong hands-on React.js development in production web applications, preferably in a product-led environment.
• Strong JavaScript and TypeScript fundamentals, practical React component architecture experience, and comfort with hooks, state management, routing, API integration, and asynchronous data handling.
• Good working knowledge of HTML5, CSS, responsive design, browser behavior, performance optimization, reusable component patterns, and modern frontend tooling such as Webpack, Vite, ESLint, or similar tools.

🌟 Nice to Have

• Exposure to Redux or similar state-management libraries.
• Experience with Jest or other frontend testing practices.
• Familiarity with Next.js or comparable React ecosystem tools.
• Proven collaboration with design and backend teams.
