🎯 The Role

Reedsy is looking for an experienced Senior Frontend Engineer based anywhere in Europe to help build and evolve its core web applications. In this fully remote position, you will work closely with backend engineers and product designers to deliver responsive, user-friendly Vue.js web tools.

🛠️ Tech Stack

• Core: Vue.js, JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, CSS3, Sass
• Architecture: Component-based UI, MVC Patterns
• Integration: RESTful APIs, Git, GitHub
• Testing: Unit and functional frontend testing suites

💼 What You will Do

• Architect and implement responsive, accessible Vue.js applications for authors and publishing professionals.
• Develop smooth UI interactions, rich editing interfaces, and data visualizations.
• Collaborate with backend engineers to integrate RESTful API endpoints with frontend state.
• Ensure high quality through thorough unit, integration, and cross-browser testing.
• Continuously optimize JavaScript bundle size and web rendering performance.

✅ What You will Need

• 5+ years of software development experience with extensive hands-on expertise in Vue.js.
• Strong command of modern JavaScript, HTML5, and modular Sass.
• Experience working with component-based frontend architectures and RESTful web services.
• Excellent communication skills within an asynchronous, fully remote engineering culture.

🌟 Nice to Have

• Experience with TypeScript, Node.js, Ruby on Rails, or desktop frameworks like Electron.
• A keen eye for visual design and pixel-perfect UI execution.
