🎯 The Role

As a Senior Frontend Engineer at Glomo, you will play a pivotal role in shaping both our core frontend platform and mobile SDK ecosystem. This is a hands-on position where you will own critical systems that directly impact how merchants integrate and experience our products. You will work across web, platform, and mobile layers, utilizing technologies like React Native and Flutter, to build robust and scalable solutions from the ground up.

💼 What You'll Do

• Own and build checkout SDKs across payments, investments, and KYC workflows.
• Build and maintain SDK integrations across web, mobile, and WebView surfaces used by merchants.
• Contribute to shared platform concerns including design systems, theming, monorepos, and build tooling.
• Improve performance across the stack, focusing on Core Web Vitals, rendering, and bundle size.
• Implement best practices in testing, CI/CD, code reviews, and documentation.
• Collaborate closely with product, design, backend, and compliance teams to deliver integrated solutions.
• Own and manage React Native and Flutter SDKs, including builds, releases, and merchant support.
• Ensure seamless WebView compatibility across mobile checkout flows and set up E2E testing infrastructure.
• Architect scalable frontend systems and influence technical direction and tooling decisions.
• Mentor engineers and contribute to the growth of the engineering team.

✅ What You'll Need

• 4–6+ years of professional frontend development experience, with a strong track record of building production-grade, customer-facing applications.
• Solid foundation in React, TypeScript, and modern frontend architecture, demonstrating deep expertise in React hooks, performance, and composition.
• Strong TypeScript skills, including generics, discriminated unions, inference, and typing real-world data.
• Experience with state management libraries like Zustand and TanStack Query.
• Proficiency with build tools such as Vite and experience with monorepo setups like Turborepo.
• Hands-on experience with testing frameworks like Vitest and Playwright.
• Comfort working on SDK-based architectures, including versioning, publishing, consumer-facing APIs, and graceful fallbacks.
• Strong understanding of performance optimization techniques (Core Web Vitals, lazy loading, bundle analysis).
• Hands-on exposure to React Native, Flutter, or mobile WebViews, with an understanding of WebView/native bridges and cross-platform constraints.
• A security-aware mindset, comfortable working on sensitive payments and KYC flows, treating PII and tokens with appropriate care.
• Strong product sense, capable of advocating for the user experience and distinguishing between technically correct and user-right solutions.
