🎯 The Role

As a Senior Frontend Engineer on the Clumio team in Bengaluru, you will be a key contributor to the user experiences and UI systems for Commvault's cloud-native data protection platform. This role emphasizes hands-on engineering, ownership of frontend components, and cross-functional collaboration to deliver reliable, intuitive, and scalable product interfaces.

🛠️ Tech Stack

The team primarily uses modern single-page application frameworks, with a strong preference for React, alongside TypeScript. Experience with Next.js or Vue.js is also valued. Key tools include Webpack, Vite, Rollup for builds, and Jest with React Testing Library for unit testing. State management and data-fetching solutions like React Query are also part of the stack.

💼 What You'll Do

• Develop and enhance frontend features and shared UI components for core application workflows.
• Take ownership of features or UI areas, guiding them from implementation through production and refining based on feedback.
• Contribute to UI architecture, design discussions, and component development, making balanced technical trade-offs.
• Write and review high-quality TypeScript and React code, diagnose complex frontend issues, and ensure product quality through best practices.
• Collaborate closely with Product, Design, Backend, and Quality Engineers to deliver polished UI features and improve reliability.

✅ What You'll Need

• A Bachelor's degree.
• At least 4 years of professional experience in frontend/UI engineering, building and operating production web applications.
• Deep hands-on experience with modern SPA frameworks, especially React, Next.js, or Vue.js.
• Strong proficiency in TypeScript for building reusable components and modular UI architectures.
• Familiarity with modern frontend build tools such as Webpack, Vite, or Rollup.
• Practical experience with frontend unit testing frameworks like React Testing Library and Jest, and state management/data-fetching solutions like React Query.
• Highly collaborative, self-driven, and capable of working effectively across distributed teams.

• Security and SaaS experience is strongly preferred.
