🎯 The Role
As a Senior Frontend Engineer (Software Engineer II) on the Repair Triage team, you will be instrumental in modernizing and building critical software products that align with Best Buy's product vision and strategy. This role involves leveraging multi-cloud platforms, human-centered design, Agile, and DevOps principles to deliver industry-leading, high-quality solutions at velocity. 💼 What You'll Do
- Contribute to the delivery of complex software solutions, effectively breaking down large problems.
- Actively participate in team planning activities and contribute to strategic discussions.
- Ensure the quality and integrity of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and identify process improvements.
- Independently triage and resolve complex technical issues across applications.
- Plan and execute the delivery of coarse-grained business needs spanning multiple applications.
- Champion agile development practices and mentor other engineers within the team.
- Support new hires and junior engineers in enhancing their skills and effectiveness.
- Contribute to and improve internal libraries and tooling to enhance developer productivity.
- Develop a deep understanding of the business domains supported by your applications.

✅ What You'll Need
- 4+ years of relevant professional experience in software development.
- 2+ years of hands-on experience in frontend development using React, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
- Proven experience with state management libraries, specifically Redux.
- Experience developing and maintaining micro-frontend applications, ideally with frameworks like Single-SPA.
- Strong proficiency in responsive UI development using HTML, CSS, LESS, and/or SASS.
- Experience with test automation frameworks such as Jest, Mocha, Selenium, or Cypress.
- Familiarity with Cloud Platforms like AWS, GCP, or Azure.
- Experience in integrating frontend applications with RESTful APIs and/or GraphQL services.
🌟 Nice to Have
- Experience working in an omni-channel retail environment.
- Familiarity with project management and CI/CD tools like Jira, GitHub Actions, or Jenkins.
- Experience with logging and monitoring tools such as Splunk or Kibana.
