🎯 The Role

As a Senior Frontend Engineer (SDE 2) at Angel One, you will play a pivotal role in designing and developing highly scalable and performant frontend systems for India's leading fintech platform. You will contribute to architectural decisions, ensure engineering excellence, and mentor team members, all while working with cutting-edge technologies to create impactful financial solutions.

💼 What You'll Do

• Develop and implement high-quality, scalable frontend solutions with cutting-edge technologies.
• Actively contribute to the design and architectural decisions for product components.
• Design and optimize APIs and RPCs for efficient system communication.
• Uphold and promote engineering excellence and best practices.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to junior engineers within the team.

✅ What You'll Need

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field with 3-5 years of experience in building large-scale systems.
• Strong foundation in computer science fundamentals, including data structures and algorithms.
• Proficiency in TypeScript and JavaScript, with hands-on experience in modern frameworks like React or Vue.js.
• Experience with Node.js for backend integration or tooling.
• Solid understanding of HTML5 and CSS3, with a proven ability to build responsive user interfaces.
• Mandatory experience with Tailwind CSS; familiarity with SCSS or SASS is a plus.
• Proficiency with module bundlers like Webpack.
• Strong grasp of Object-Oriented Design/Programming and modern JavaScript concepts (closures, async programming).
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.
• Familiarity with principles like the 12-factor app and a data-driven approach (metrics obsession).

🌟 Nice to Have

• Experience with Svelte.js.
• Exposure to advanced CSS preprocessors like SCSS or SASS.
• Familiarity with backend technologies beyond Node.js.
