🎯 The Role

The aiR Assist Platform team builds the foundational frontend platform and infrastructure behind Relativity’s AI-powered products. In this role, you will shape frontend architecture by building reusable UI infrastructure, enabling composable micro-frontend delivery, and developing the agent harness that flows AI context seamlessly across host applications and embedded chat experiences.

• Architecture: Micro-frontends, Web Components, Module Federation, Nx Monorepo
• State & Data: React Query, Zustand, REST APIs, OpenAPI Clients
• Testing & Quality: Vitest, Playwright, Storybook, Visual Regression Testing
• Cloud & CI/CD: Microsoft Azure, Progressive CDN delivery, Git

💼 What You'll Do

• Design and implement scalable, performant frontend infrastructure using React 19, TypeScript, and Relativity design systems.
• Advance enterprise micro-frontend delivery and cross-tenant frontend composition.
• Evolve shared context registries and postMessage communication protocols for AI chat products.
• Drive modularization, code-splitting, and clean module boundaries across the Nx monorepo.
• Build accessible, cross-browser interfaces complying with WCAG standards.
• Own end-to-end automated testing pipelines with Vitest, Playwright, and Storybook.
• Mentor engineers and provide technical leadership across frontend platform initiatives.

✅ What You'll Need

• 4–6+ years of professional frontend software engineering experience with large-scale web applications.
• Advanced expertise in modern JavaScript, TypeScript, and the React ecosystem (hooks, concurrent features).
• Strong platform engineering background designing reusable UI abstractions and shared libraries.
• Practical experience with modular architectures, code-splitting, and micro-frontend patterns.
• Familiarity with modern build tooling and monorepos (Nx, Vite, Turborepo, Webpack).
• Hands-on experience writing automated unit, integration, and E2E tests (Vitest, Jest, Playwright).

🌟 Nice to Have

• Experience building frontend infrastructure on Microsoft Azure.
• Experience with AI-enhanced frontend interfaces, streaming responses, and agent context systems.
• Familiarity with .NET or Node.js backend services.
