🎯 The Role

As a Senior Frontend Developer at Merkle (a Dentsu company), you will be instrumental in building high-performance, scalable web applications. 💼 What You'll Do

• Develop and maintain high-quality, responsive web applications using React.js and Next.js.
• Integrate complex RESTful and GraphQL APIs to ensure seamless data flow and functionality.
• Implement advanced CSS techniques for pixel-perfect and performant user interfaces.
• Contribute to design systems and component libraries using tools like Storybook.
• Ensure web performance optimization and adhere to Core Web Vitals standards.
• Write comprehensive unit, integration, and end-to-end tests using Jest, Cypress, or Playwright.
• Collaborate effectively within an Agile/Scrum distributed team environment.
• Participate in code reviews, mentor junior developers, and contribute to architectural discussions.

✅ What You'll Need

• 5+ years of professional frontend development experience with JavaScript/TypeScript.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience with Next.js and React.js in production environments.
• Expertise in advanced CSS, including pre-processors and responsive design principles.
• Strong background in API integration (RESTful, GraphQL) and CRUD operations.
• Proficiency with headless CMS platforms such as Sitecore, Contentful, or Sanity.
• Experience with version control (Git) and CI/CD pipelines for cloud deployments.
• Solid understanding of web performance optimization techniques and tools like Lighthouse.
• Familiarity with testing frameworks like Jest, Cypress, or Playwright.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum development methodologies with Jira and Confluence.
