🎯 The Role

Deltatre is hiring a Senior Front-End Software Engineer in Italy (Remote) across its DIGITAL Solutions and OTT Solutions platforms. You will take end-to-end ownership of frontend features, design systems, and video playback experiences that reach millions of concurrent sports and entertainment fans worldwide.

• Core: React, Next.js, TypeScript, Modern JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5
• Styling: CSS3, SCSS, Design Systems & Component Libraries
• APIs & Data: RESTful APIs, GraphQL, Client-side event telemetry
• Platforms & Testing: Web, Connected TV (Tizen, webOS, Apple TV), Jest, Testing Library, CI/CD

💼 What You'll Do

• Design, build, and maintain high-fidelity front-end experiences across web, mobile, and 10-foot connected TV surfaces.
• Take technical leadership on solution architecture, authoring clear RFCs and guiding features from concept to production.
• Evolve shared design system components, emphasizing accessibility, modularity, and cross-browser consistency.
• Profile and optimize runtime performance, Core Web Vitals, video startup times, and stream buffering metrics.
• Mentor and pair with mid-level and junior developers to elevate frontend craftsmanship across the organization.
• Partner with backend architects and QA to ensure robust integration with content APIs and microservices.

✅ What You'll Need

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience with deep specialization in React and Next.js.
• Solid command of responsive layouts, modern CSS/SCSS, and accessibility best practices.
• Proven track record shipping production applications across multi-platform targets.
• Experience designing, maintaining, and testing enterprise component libraries.
• Strong background in frontend performance measurement, profiling, and analytics instrumentation.
• Excellent English communication skills and ability to articulate architectural decisions.
• Must reside in Italy on an Italian employment contract.

🌟 Nice to Have

• Experience in OTT, VOD, live video streaming, DRM, or video player integrations.
• Hands-on experience developing for Connected TV platforms (Samsung Tizen, LG webOS, Apple TV, Android TV).
