🎯 The Role

Hiver is hiring an SDE 2 Frontend engineer to help shape the product experience as the platform scales. This role sits close to foundational frontend work, with responsibility across architecture, usability, and delivery. You will contribute to product direction while building systems that support a growing user base and large daily communication volume.

💼 What You'll Do

• Build and maintain interactive, responsive frontend systems across different form factors
• Own frontend development work from coding through deployment
• Help create reusable building blocks for new web application surfaces
• Improve engineering standards, tooling, and internal development practices
• Work closely with design and cross-functional stakeholders to craft strong user experiences
• Support long-term frontend quality while still moving quickly on product delivery

✅ What You'll Need

• 4+ years of practical frontend engineering experience
• Strong command of web fundamentals including HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript
• Solid experience with TypeScript and openness to work deeply with Vue.js
• Experience using SASS or Tailwind CSS in production systems
• Good understanding of maintainable architecture, clean code, and reusable frontend patterns
• Strong debugging ability and sound engineering judgment around trade-offs
• Ability to deliver quickly without compromising long-term maintainability
• Clear written and verbal communication skills

• Prior experience with Vue.js in production
• Strong familiarity with deployment and frontend tooling best practices
• Experience helping define engineering standards for growing teams
• Comfort working on foundational frontend systems in early-stage product initiatives
