As an SDE-2 Frontend Engineer at Uber, you will build and scale reliable, accessible web interfaces that serve riders, drivers, couriers, and enterprise partners across the globe. You will collaborate with design and product teams to translate product roadmaps into production web systems, ensuring top-tier responsiveness and developer standards.

💼 What You'll Do

• Architect and implement high-quality web features using React and TypeScript
• Deliver performant, cross-browser interfaces optimized for speed and reliability
• Connect frontend applications to high-throughput backend APIs and services
• Enhance frontend observability, testing suites, and Core Web Vitals
• Participate in design critiques, architectural reviews, and code standards

✅ What You'll Need

• 2 to 6 years of specialized frontend web application development experience
• Strong command of React, modern JavaScript, TypeScript, and web standards
• Practical understanding of asynchronous state handling, API integration, and DOM performance
• Proven track record writing maintainable code with unit and integration tests
• Product-minded problem solving and collaborative communication skills

• Familiarity with server-side rendering (SSR) frameworks and micro-frontends
• Experience in consumer internet, high-traffic eCommerce, or delivery platforms
