🎯 The Role
As a Product Software Engineer II on the News Web Squad, you will build and maintain websites for ABC News and the eight ABC Owned and Operated Television Stations. You'll work with modern server-side and web technologies such as TypeScript, JavaScript, Node, and React to deliver scalable solutions for new product features and core site architecture.

💼 What You'll Do
- Build and ship component-level features for ABC News and OTV station sites
- Write clean, tested code in TypeScript, Node, and React
- Participate in peer code reviews and contribute to engineering practices
- Troubleshoot production issues and maintain documentation
- Collaborate with product and design partners
✅ What You'll Need
- 3+ years of professional software engineering experience
- Strong understanding of front-end development and best practices
- Extensive experience with TypeScript, JavaScript, React, and Node.js
- Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and core web principles
- Ability to own features throughout the full lifecycle
- Experience with automated testing and code reviews
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
