🎯 The Role

MakeMyTrip is seeking a Principal Software Engineer (Frontend) to take end-to-end ownership of critical modules. You will lead development lifecycles, ensure UI/UX technical feasibility, and foster a culture of high-performance engineering through mentorship and clean code practices.

💼 What You'll Do

• Take full ownership of module planning, design, and code reviews.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver business-aligned features.
• Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
• Write maintainable code and conduct thorough troubleshooting.
• Lead the software development lifecycle from concept to production.
• Drive talent management and mentor junior engineering talent.

✅ What You'll Need

• BE/BTech in Computer Science from a top-tier institute.
• 8-10 years of engineering experience at large-scale tech companies.
• Deep expertise in React.js and advanced JavaScript/CSS/HTML.
• Proven track record with responsive design, REST APIs, and browser rendering optimization.
• Strong proficiency with tools like Git, Webpack, and Jest.
• Demonstrated leadership and mentoring capabilities within high-performance teams.
• Experience working in Scrum/Kanban agile environments.

• Hands-on experience with TypeScript.
• Familiarity with setting up and managing CI/CD pipelines.
